"GCA Systems, Inc (formerly Shim Enterprises, Inc) is a professional, military friendly company. They approached the organization's (Exercise Support Division, Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, 29 Palms, CA) unique requirements to upgrade a Microsoft Access database application to a web based, collaborative product with enthusiasm and a 'can do' attitude. They met all specified requirements, and in many cases, exceeded them with the final product. ESD's Maintenance Automation Program II is now a more robust, capable and user friendly tool that allows the organization to accurately track a wide range of operational, supply and maintenance related issues to support the Marine warfighter."

I have been a user of MAP/MAP II since July, 2000 and what I appreciate most about it is it's ability to accept changes. If I had a suggestion for improvement, and as long as I kept in mind the overall impact on the organizational mission, my suggestions were always welcomed. I hope it will always incorporate this kind of flexibility.

Success at 29 Palms Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center

We recently completed installation of the new Maintenance Automation Program (MAP) at Twentynine Palms Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center.  The MAP system was developed using .NET technology and Microsoft SQL Server to provide the Exercise Support Division with automated property management including parts warehousing, reordering and maintenance reporting and costing.

Success United Parcel Service

The aircraft maintenance parts depot of United Parcel Service (UPS) was faced with obsolete controls, growing downtime rates and a dwindling supply of spares for a 4 aisle Miniload ASRS.  The retrofit consisted of replacing the Motors and Drive Controllers for all three axis, Horizontal and Vertical Gear Cases, Horizontal Drive Wheels and Bearings, New machine Control Computers, End of Aisle Operator Computers and Horizontal and Vertical Axis Laser Positioning Systems and Wireless Ethernet Communication Systems all controlled by GCA software.
